What you\'ll do
As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of all of our vertical businesses at Careem. You will be responsible for leading the Growth function and spearheading Go-to-Market (GTM) plans for market entry into new countries. This position requires an analytical and strategic thinker with a strong background in growth marketing, team leadership, and CRM.
Key responsibilities:
Growth Strategy and Implementation:
Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to optimize customer engagement and retention.
Establish systems, tools, and processes to support data-driven marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer segments and personalize communication strategies.
Monitor and analyze key growth metrics like consumer activation, customer cross sell, upsell, and customer retention to identify areas for improvement and optimize customer journeys.
Go-to-Market Planning:
Lead the development of GTM plans for launching our products/services in new countries.
Conduct market research to identify target audiences, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align messaging and positioning.
Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Team Leadership:
Lead a high-performing team of growth marketers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Set clear goals and performance expectations, ensuring the team\'s success in achieving business objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
Growth Marketing Strategies:
Ideate, devise, and develop growth marketing strategies to maximize the value of existing customers.
Implement data-driven tactics to optimize customer acquisition, activation, and retention.
Conduct A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate on campaigns to improve conversion rates.
Identify and explore new customer segments and journeys that drive sustainable business growth.
