Reporting to the Group CFO, This is a critical role in our Group Finance team to allow Red Sea to meet its strategic objectives of growing our network, and improving our profit margin.

The role will include continually reviewing and optimizing new services & providers, associated contracts, as well as driving cost reduction initiatives. This is a key role accountable for managing relationships with our internal stakeholders, our external partners and our supplier network to ensure we work collaboratively to improve our commercial performance and deliver against strategic objectives:

• Design and implement a set of strategies on how we procure key categories in the most optimal way in terms of quality, cost and speed to market to achieve industry leading performance, whilst always beating local pricing.
• Be able to work remotely and manage in-country team members as required
• Be accountable for the full contracting process globally from initiation through implementation. This includes negotiating contract terms in collaboration with our legal team.
• Actively mitigate risk in collaboration with legal and relevant internal RedSea stakeholders.
• Manage multiple contract priorities across various countries and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Track and report on planned and in collaboration with Finance peers, validate achieved savings targets.
• Identify and manage relationships with key suppliers, evaluate performance on a regular basis to ensure that we are getting value for money and supplier performance is in line with our expectations
• Work collaboratively with peers in Finance team (Director of FP&A and Director of Operational Finance) to ensure alignment across budgeting and reporting
• Work with stakeholders at a Group, Regional and Country level to ensure Procurement is supporting them to deliver against their business plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, engineering or related discipline
• 10+ year business experience, with vast experience working in procurement function in a global setting - experience in the Middle East is an advantage
• Experience managing a set of commercial categories across a region, or a category globally
• Thorough understanding services and procurement best practices
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Strong organisation, time and project skills
