The Director of Finance manages all duties of the Finance Department:

  • As Oversee and manage all operations and matters related to Finance department.
  • Monitor budgetary and key performance indicator movements.
  • Ensure to liaise with the company auditors and regulators.
  • Responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the organization
  • To ensure effective implementation of all Materials Policies & Procedures following local. legislation, whilst maintaining Accor Standards in Materials Management
  • Ensure to manage the development of accounting admissions, credit/collections and internal control policies
  • Ensure all statutory compliances, permissions and licences are in place and renewed in time.
  • Supervise the functioning of Purchase department

Qualifications

  • Accounting Designation, Batchelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive work-related experience in multiple areas of accounting/Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting system or similar financial software for the purpose of financial reporting, analysis, and presentation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes and regulations, along with demonstrated knowledge of capital projects management standards and techniques and GAAP regulations and procedures.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications.
  • Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to focus attention on owner & guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Physical aspects of Position (include but not limited to): Constant sitting, telephone and computer work.
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Arabic speaker
  • Omani national preferred.
  • Pre-opening experience is preferred
