About the Client Our client offers the most comprehensive portfolio of real estate in the GCC region and was founded with the vision of strengthening the fundamentals of the UAEs real estate industry. They are looking for a Director of Finance who will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and managing an accounting team. Candidates with a background in Real Estate are preferred.
Responsibilities : Develop and implement financial strategies, policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management of the company Manage the accounting team, including supervision of financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax strategy & contracts Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports for the company, and present financial reports to the CEO and Board of Directors Provide financial analysis and guidance to the CEO and management team to support strategic decision-making Manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring of expenditures and revenue Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external stakeholders Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to financial management Develop & maintain financial models & present to CEO
Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, including at least 5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role Experience working in Dubai is required , with knowledge of local financial regulations and practices Strong leadership skills and experience managing an accounting team E xperience in Real Estate finance is essential & Experience with Real estate develope r Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies and policies, and to provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
