Planning and Organizing:

\xc2\x97 To comply with all statutory and legal requirements for fire, health, and safety licensing and provide all necessary safety equipment required for work to be carried out efficiently and safely.

\xc2\x97 Plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations.

\xc2\x97 Continually monitor the responsible use of energy across the properties, and implement measures resulting in energy cost savings.

\xc2\x97 To prepare the Engineering budget for the region and provide Engineering input into property strategic and operational planning exercises.

Maintenance

\xc2\x97 Provide in-house mechanical and electrical servicing, repair, and maintenance using well-trained, presentable personnel carrying out maintenance works in an efficient, discreet, and guest-friendly manner.

\xc2\x97 Carry out continuous inspections to ensure the highest level of guest comfort is maintained and that all services are in proper working condition.

\xc2\x97 Ensure that all maintenance requests are prioritized and dealt with in an efficient manner.

\xc2\x97 Develop a team of technically proficient engineers to carry out all required engineering work to standard with technical specifications.

Project Management

\xc2\x97 Act as a Project Manager between the region and outside contractors or technical services on major projects.

\xc2\x97 Build long-term, value-based customer relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

\xc2\x97 Consistently work with the GMs and property-based engineers to ensure alignment and effective execution of all engineering-related deliverables and projects.

Qualifications

\xc2\x97 Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering;

\xc2\x97 3-5 years or more operating experience with sound leadership ability;

\xc2\x97 Vast experience in the hospitality industry is required;

\xc2\x97 Fluency in English;

\xc2\x97 Effective communication at all levels;

\xc2\x97 Commercial/business acumen;

\xc2\x97 Ability to manage & lead matrix teams;

\xc2\x97 Articulation of the vision and translation of it to reality;

\xc2\x97 Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all the Hotel
