Job Description

Title:Director HSE

This role will require effective stakeholder management and influence within Global Project Execution within the Technology Led Industrial Solution (TLIS) Business Unit within KBR Sustainable Technology Solution (STS) Division. This role will have accountability for safety compliance across an EPC organization of 2,000+ personnel, including timely response and remediation of incidents, proactive risk identification and mitigation across the Global organization.

Responsibilities

Display all characteristics of KBR Leadership in the office and field, being a Leader of Safety within the organization.

Conduct monthly global and regional safety meetings and manage quarterly global leadership reporting on safety (incidents, trends, action items).

Comprehensively manage incidents, including root cause analysis and execution of necessary improvement efforts; deliver the expedient and clear communication of incidents to TLIS and Corporate leadership.

Keep global visibility of incidents and HSERS metrics. Collect and review leading and lagging safety data to predict and prevent future incidents.

Provide leadership in hiring safety managers and their successful onboarding and understanding of KBR HSSE systems and standards; support and provide direction to all TLIS Project safety managers and support site personnel to enable the Zero Harm culture.

Develop and maintain training programs for contractors and competencies of Regional Safety Managers.

Collaborate effectively and align with all regions' site personnel to drive effective site safety program and culture.

Lead and be the point of contact for reporting of safety data, analytics, incidents, and program advancement to the VP, and have dotted line reporting to Corporate EH&S team.

Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to other managers.

Guides the development of functional strategy and is responsible for global processes and procedures.

Collaborates on the execution of departmental goals with other functional leaders to achieve business objectives.

Travel globally to regional offices, construction sites, customer offices, professional societies, conferences, etc. Travel time of 25% minimum should be expected.

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 15+ years of experience, 5+ of which should be in management.
