Director - Architecture - Hospitality Design Leadership Dubai
Position Overview
Jumeirah Group is hiring a Director - Architecture to lead design innovation across its luxury hospitality portfolio. Based in Dubai, this high-level role offers the opportunity to shape the visual identity of new developments, property improvement plans (PIPs), and world-renowned refurbishments. Ideal for an experienced architect with hospitality expertise, project leadership capabilities, and a passion for luxury guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive architectural vision, design briefs, and brand alignment across all spatial projects
• Review and approve design proposals covering architecture, interiors, signage, FF&E, and landscape
• Conduct site assessments and participate in consultant selection
• Manage full lifecycle of design projects from pre-concept to execution, ensuring brand excellence and sustainability standards
• Oversee design mock-ups, compliance with codes, and cross-functional collaboration with technical services
• Track milestones, risks, and progress reports for leadership visibility
• Stay ahead of trends in global architecture, luxury design, and hospitality innovation

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's in Architecture required; Master's preferred (Architecture or Business Administration)
• 10-12 years' experience, with minimum 5 in hospitality design leadership
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and interpreting MEP/construction drawings
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-property design portfolios under global brand standards
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
