Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and execution of civil engineering projects. Supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to timelines. Prepare and review drawings, estimates, and material requirements. Monitor daily progress and maintain project reports and documentation. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design and safety regulations. Support senior engineers in quantity surveying, leveling, and surveying works. Assist in quality control testing of materials (concrete, soil, asphalt, etc.). Ensure proper maintenance of site records and project files. Participate in preparing bar bending schedules, bill of quantities (BOQ), and as-built drawings.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and surveying instruments (Total Station, Theodolite, Leveling instruments). Good understanding of building materials, codes, and safety standards. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Project documentation and report-writing skills.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute or polytechnic.

Experience:

Freshers:

Can work as Junior Engineer / Site Supervisor / Trainee Engineer.

Experienced (1-5 years):

Can handle independent site supervision, estimation, and coordination work.
