We are hiring

Dimensional Inspector

Responsible for

Performs complete layout inspection (where require) by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance, between reference points, using measuring tape or where required precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator to ensure product meets specifications.

Able to locate reference point(s) on part and measure dimension such as angle, arc, and radii, using combinations of aids, such as surface plate parallel bars, angle plates, gauge blocks, plug pins, V blocks, sine bars, and precision measuring instruments such as height gage.

Ensure Item mark/Assembly mark of thecomponent is hard stamped prior to start component inspection

Verify and ensure valid calibration of measuring instruments/tools/equipments

Ensure all sub assembly are fitted in the components

Performs verification on Incoming, In-Process, and Outgoing products.

Perform Fit up and dimensional inspection prior to welding in compliance with Inspection and test Plan and IMSP-13

Perform Final visual and dimensional inspection after welding and NDT completion in compliance with Inspection and Test Plan and IMSP-13

Ensure Component dimension is within the etolerance required by the Inspection and test plan

Ensure NDT is completed prior to final dimension inspection

Check for bend/distortion is within the specified tolerance

Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Engineer or Quality Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.

Maintains record of inspection in the drawing or as required by project

Record Inspection status (after successfull inspection) on the component in compliance with IMSP-13

Experience:

steel fabrication: 3 years (Preferred) as Fabricator/Fitter : 3 years (Preferred) * Perform Dimensional Inspection : 3 years (Preferred)
