Role Overview:

Orbit ISS is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dimensional Control Surveyor with a strong background in mechanical fabrication and offshore projects. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in dimensional control surveying for oil & gas, offshore wind, and shipbuilding projects, with proficiency in specialized software and surveying equipment. The role requires precision, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform dimensional control surveys in mechanical fabrication yards, offshore platforms, shipyards, and conversion projects. Ensure accuracy in structural alignment, installation, and fabrication processes to meet engineering and client specifications. Utilize Leica Total Stations (TS-15 & TS-16) and other precision instruments for surveying and measurement tasks. Apply advanced dimensional control techniques using Spatial Analyzer and AutoCAD software. Generate accurate survey reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for project handover. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and QA/QC teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies. Support offshore wind field projects with dimensional verification and installation accuracy. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards during all survey activities. Work under high-pressure conditions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Contribute to project planning by providing dimensional input for fabrication and installation stages.

Requirements

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in a mechanical fabrication yard as a Dimensional Controller. Strong background in oil & gas and offshore wind field projects. Preferably experienced in offshore platforms, shipbuilding, and conversion projects. Proficient in Spatial Analyzer and AutoCAD. Hands-on experience with Leica Total Stations (TS-15 & TS-16). Physically and mentally flexible to perform under high-pressure environments. * Available to join immediately (no notice period required).
