Assignment Description

Monitor contractor's performance and ensure that dimensional control activities are safely and timely carried out in accordance with specifications and regulations. Identify and report deviations from requirements and specifications, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
Accountabilities:
Be an HSSE ambassador and ensure that HSSE procedures are followed. Participate in tool-box meetings and safety meetings. Assist the contractor in resolving technical issues related to dimensional control quality. Collaborate with relevant engineers and ensure that constructions and equipment are installed according to project requirements. Review and comment on relevant inspection points and sign off on behalf of the company. Ensure continuous improvement of work processes and products. Report daily and weekly of ongoing activities. Ensure that measuring tools are in good condition and calibrated for the job. Follow up and verify the closure of issues and improvement initiatives. Perform independent DC and scanning of contract objects during and after construction. Interpret scanning data and compare with the E3D model. Coordinate DC interface with other sites and propose mitigations to neutralize out of tolerance.

Qualifications

Theoretical and practical knowledge of general fabrication and erection of structures, piping systems, and equipment, as well as related dimensional control activities. Familiarity with relevant project and industry documents, procedures, guidelines, and standards (e.g., Norsok). Experience with MS Office, PIMS, and Navisworks is an advantage. Knowledge of 3D scanning and use of scanning software. Relevant engineering degree (preferred) and certification in the use of measuring equipment Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas projects.
