Job Summary
We are seeking a highly strategic and technically proficient Digital Transformation Manager / Solution Architect to lead our organization's journey into the digital future. This unique role is a hybrid of a strategic visionary and a hands-on architect. You will be responsible for defining the digital transformation roadmap, securing stakeholder buy-in, and designing the integrated technology solutions that will bring that vision to life. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technology implementation, ensuring our digital initiatives deliver measurable value, innovation, and a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Management (The Digital Transformation Manager):

  • Develop the Strategy: Create and own the end-to-end digital transformation strategy and roadmap, aligned with overall business goals.
  • Champion Change: Act as the primary evangelist for digital transformation, building excitement and managing change across all levels of the organization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-level executives, business unit leaders, and key stakeholders to identify pain points, opportunities, and define business cases for digital initiatives.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Measure ROI: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and ROI of transformation efforts, reporting progress to leadership.
  • Foster Innovation: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and digital innovation, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Technical Solution Design (The Solution Architect):
  • Architect Solutions: Design end-to-end technology solutions that are scalable, secure, reliable, and meet business requirements. This includes applications, data integration, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and vendors (e.g., CRM, ERP, Cloud Providers - AWS/Azure/GCP, SaaS applications).
  • Create Blueprints: Develop architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to guide development and implementation teams.
  • Ensure Integration: Architect solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing legacy systems and future-state technologies.
  • Govern Standards: Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices across all technology projects.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to development, engineering, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a combination of:
  • Solution Architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles.
  • Program/Project Management, leading large-scale, complex IT or digital transformation projects.
  • Proven experience in developing digital transformation strategies and roadmaps.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD), APIs, microservices, and data architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience with selecting and integrating enterprise software (e.g., CRM, ERP) and SaaS platforms.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience building business cases and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
Preferred:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solution Architect, PMP, Agile/Scrum Master).

  • Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Strong background in change management principles and methodologies (e.g., Prosci).
