Quest Search and Selection has partnered with MyStudyLife and we are looking for a hardworking Digital Marketing Intern who will relish the opportunity to put into practice what they are learning (or have learnt) at university. Please note that this is paid work experience, this is not a job and there is no visa offered.
We are looking for a creative and commercial candidate with some digital marketing knowledge and superb writing skills to play an important role in our growing company. This is an exciting, intern-level opportunity for an undergraduate or post-graduate studying this dynamic field.
You will also work on a new product, MyStudyZen, that has just been launched on the App and Play Store and which has yet to be marketed. This will provide an excellent opportunity to get involved in a start-up product.
This is a vital role that requires initiative and flexibility, reporting initially to the Product Manager. The role is either entirely remote or there is the option for a combination of working from home and working from our office in central Dubai. You will need to commit to working at least 15 hours a week.
As the Digital Marketing Intern, you will perform the following duties:
Help plan and execute all digital marketing (except social media) and PR, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email and PPC advertising campaigns to maximise visibility
Help measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Grow press relationships, work on press releases
Collaborate with Product Manager to create landing pages and optimise user experience
Write marketing copy
Marketing research
Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (Digital Marketing Intern):
Undergraduate or Postgraduate. If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate in Digital Marketing or a related field; that would be an advantage but not a must.
Superb written English. Strong writing and proof-reading skills
Strong Excel and Word skills.
Ability to work independently, with little supervision, to tight deadlines
Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels would be advantageous
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments would be useful
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas) would be useful
Experience in (or have studied) setting up and optimising Google AdWords campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints would be useful
Portfolio of published articles would be advantageous
