Quest Search and Selection has partnered with MyStudyLife and we are looking for a hardworking Digital Marketing Intern who will relish the opportunity to put into practice what they are learning (or have learnt) at university. We are looking for a creative and commercial candidate with some digital marketing knowledge and superb writing skills to play an important role in our growing company. This is an exciting, intern-level opportunity for an undergraduate or post-graduate studying this dynamic field. You will be working with a global team to help grow MyStudyLife into a holistic student platform. You will also work on a new product that has just been launched which will provide an opportunity to get involved in a start-up product. This is a superb chance to develop in a diverse, international environment. My Study Life is a free planner app for students with over 7m downloads. We had over 1.4 million global users in over 200 countries last year. This is a vital role that requires initiative and flexibility, reporting initially to the Product Managers. The role is either entirely remote or there is the option for a combination of working from home and working from our office in central Dubai. You will need to commit to working at least 15 hours a week. This is a (lowly) paid internship but be aware that the pay reflects that this is an internship with a huge amount of flexibility that will help you gain the work experience you need. Some of our interns have ended up working full time for us but there is no guarantee of long term paid work with MSL. Duties include:
Help plan and execute all digital marketing (except social media), including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email and PPC advertising campaigns to maximise visibility
Help measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Collaborate with Product Managers to create landing pages and optimise user experience
Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Write and/or commission marketing copy to promote MSL
Marketing research
Update WordPress/CMS
Use Google Marketing Platform (esp. Google Analytics and Google Search Console) and other services such as SEMrush
Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Skills and Experience:
Undergraduate or Postgraduate in Digital Marketing or a related field
Deep understanding of SEO
Strong writing and proof-reading skills
Strong analytical skills, ability to collect, organise, and analyse information
Accuracy and attention to detail are vital
Strong organisation skills
Strong Excel and Word skills.
Ability to work independently, with little supervision, to tight deadlines
You need to be highly creative and experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate would be helpful
Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels would be advantageous
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments would be useful
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Knowledge of Google Marketing Platform and WordPress
Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas) would be useful
Experience in (or have studied) setting up and optimising Google AdWords campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints would be useful
You need to be Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Portfolio of published articles would be advantageous.
