Synopsis

To help answer the highest value analytical problem statements posed by different teams and departments across Etihad Airways to the Digital & eCommerce team. Reporting to the Digital Engagement Senior Manager and working under the guidance of the Digital & eCommerce Director, he/she should leverage their advanced analytical skills and the wider analytical toolkit, to lead and visualize EtihadaEUR(TM)s digital and enterprise data resources. Also, he/she should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, to effectively work across a multi-disciplined environment. He/she will be encouraged to develop their skills and techniques for the analysis of data and problem solving, to stay up-to-date with industry leading Digital Analytics capabilities.

Accountabilities

Working with the Digital business leaders to analyze requirements and identify or design the solution to a problem. Execute complex, ad-hoc analyses utilizing EtihadaEUR(TM)s wider analytical toolkit proactively looking for further insights and root cause. Summarize / visualize results and highlight likely insights for the business translator to develop. Maintain documentation repository of solutions, to include methodology. Identify opportunities for automation and improvements to approach in each analysis performed, make recommendations to the wider team as to priorities for further development. Develop and maintain proficiency with Adobe, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI and other advanced analytic and database tools, in-house data sets, and other resources. Will be encouraged to develop one or more specializations in EtihadaEUR(TM)s key analytical disciplines and become the aEUR~go-toaEUR(TM) person among peers in that field. Act as an expert and coach to the wider analytics team.

Education & Experience

4 to 6 years of relevant experience in digital analytics, reporting and data management and/or Data Science models used in commercial/digital processes. Experience within the aviation industry in the areas of digital analytics, Business Analytics would be preferred. Minimum BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology or related field. Additional qualifications in analytical disciplines and techniques an advantage. Proven track record of managing successful digital analytical models and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
