Dietitian
Summary
As a Dietitian, you will be essential in promoting health and wellness through nutrition. Your role involves assessing patients' dietary needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and providing guidance to help individuals achieve their health goals for one of our leading Medical Center in Abu Dhabi. This position is vital in enhancing patient well-being and supporting the healthcare team in delivering comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional needs and dietary restrictions.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans.
- Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into patient care.
- Conduct nutritional research and stay informed on the latest dietary guidelines.
- Participate in community health initiatives to promote nutritional awareness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
- 2-4 years of experience in a clinical or community nutrition setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and counseling abilities.
- Proficiency in nutrition assessment tools and software.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
