Requirements:

  • Provide nutrition guidance, label interpretation and consultation services to health professionals, individuals, dietetic interns, community groups, government, and the media
  • Evaluate nutritional status of individuals and aid in the prevention and/or
  • treatment of inadequate nutrition
  • Plan, evaluate and conduct nutrition education programs and develop educational materials for various audiences
  • Practice on an individual basis or as a member of an interdisciplinary team to determine nutritional needs of patients and to plan, implement and evaluate normal and therapeutic menus to maintain and enhance general health
  • Analyze current scientific nutritional studies, conduct research, and evaluate program effectiveness to improve the nutritional value, taste, appearance, and preparation of food
  • Work within industry in the development, testing and evaluation, and marketing of food and nutrition products or as a company representative supplying product related information to health professionals
  • Confer with other health professionals, community groups, government, and the media to provide consultation and advice in areas of nutrition interpretation, intervention, and policy
  • Supervise training of dietetic interns.
  • Dietitians and nutritionists may specialize in areas such as administrative dietetics, clinical dietetics, community dietetics, public health nutrition or research dietetics.
  • Identify, lead, and facilitate broad based product quality & food safety programs and improvements to set a level of superior performance against customer expectations.
  • Define, lead, and facilitate internal and external operational audit evaluations in the quality and food safety areas of responsibility.
  • Facilitate food safety, quality, and general safety training of all restaurant staff
  • Serve as key quality and food safety by solving production and product quality issues.
  • Serve in crisis management role for quality & food safety issues.
  • Monitor trends and emerging issues within the quality & food safety business environments.
  • Inspect facilities, equipment, products, or production lines to ensure food is prepared according to safety regulations and situational health sections.
  • Lead quality and food safety related audits.
  • Responsible for the quality control aspects of raw materials and finished products and Verify quality control (QC) records
  • Oversee food defense and security, sanitation, pest control, micro-testing, and water quality maintenance.
  • Leads customer and third-party audits, including complains.
  • Train all affected employees on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and other hazardous communication pertaining to new chemicals/hazardous ingredients as they are introduced for sanitation and/or new products. Identify or provide specialized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
  • Assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at such standards.
  • Completes all the steps required for food product packaging is the last one who check boxes before delivered to clients
  • Ensuring that all quality policies and procedures meet national and international standards.
  • Liaising closely with other managers and departments.
  • Ensure all check sheets are correctly completed and all non-compliance found have had the correct action taken and signed off
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are align with regulatory requirements, and Nutree policy.
  • Establish SOPs and conditions for food handling and, storage oversee corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) implementation and documentations with other departments.
  • Participate in quality management system reviews and promote quality and food safety policies to all personnel Verify quality control (QC) records, test results and reports for regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, health, or a related field.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Qatar license or additional certifications - required.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, public speaking, and listening skills.
  • Willingness to continue training and research to keep current on the latest discoveries and developments in the field.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Compassion and genuine interest in helping others develop better eating habits.
