Roles and responsibilities shall include but not limited to: Departmental Responsibilities: a. Planning and supervision of the preparation and service of therapeutic and other diets for patients. b. Preparation of the choice menu cards and meal production list c. Ensuring supplies are available for patients on therapeutic diets d. Develop menu patterns and evaluates client acceptance e. Typing of documents and maintenance of records f. Assisting the Clinical Dietitian g. Reporting to the Head of the Department h. Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient or client. i. Advise patient and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation. j. Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life. k. Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards. l. Coordinate recipe development and standardization and develop new menus for independent food service operations. m. Develop policies for food service or nutritional programs to assist in health promotion and disease control. n. Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance. o. Receive food in accordance with health and safety codes. p. Select, train and supervise workers who plan, prepare and serve meals. q. Participate in quality program and be member of quality committees if chosen. r. Should be flexible to work with all the department as per operational requirements. s. Participation in the organization's quality improvement and safety activities. Co-operate with their employer with respect to any instructions and/or actions taken by the employer to protect and/or comply with OSH requirements d. Report to their immediate supervisor any situation which they have reason to believe could present a hazard and which they cannot themselves correct. e. Report all OSH incidents and work-related injuries; and f. Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided at the workplace in the interest of health, safety, or welfare. g. Comply with the established OSHMS procedures of which they have been informed, instructed, and trained. h. Actively participate along with line management towards implementation of OSHMS requirements. Quality Responsibilities a. Abides by regulatory and accreditation requirements. b. Attends committee and management meetings as appropriate c. Awareness and compliance to all policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, safety, and infection control d. Accountable for reporting any untoward incidents in the Oxygen Rehabilitation Center to Quality department through Occurrence Variance reporting. e. Responsible to assist in assessing Oxygen Rehabilitation Center Risks that may lead to untoward incidents. f. Responsible to report the Monthly key performance Indicators and Jawda KPI's to Quality department if nominated for the same. Job Type: Full-time COVID-19 considerations:

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Dietitian: 1 year (Required)

Language:

• English (Required)
• Arabic (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• HAAD/DOH License (Required)
