Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and Diagnose Issues:
Examine diesel engines and related systems to identify problems using diagnostic tools and mechanical expertise.
Perform Repairs:
Repair or replace faulty components including fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems, and other mechanical parts.
Routine Maintenance:
Conduct regular services such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake checks, and fluid inspections to maintain vehicle performance.
Test Equipment:
Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to confirm functionality and safety compliance.
Maintain Records:
Accurately document all maintenance activities, services performed, parts replaced, and service schedules for future reference.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic specializing in heavy vehicles.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and diagnostic tools.
Ability to perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting independently.
Good communication and record-keeping skills.
Relevant technical certification or diploma preferred.
