Diesel Generator Electrical Technician

Job Description
A Diesel Generator Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generators and related electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of diesel generators. Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including wiring, control panels, and alternators. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on DG sets. Inspect and monitor generator performance, voltage, frequency, and load. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Prepare maintenance reports and service logs.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field. Knowledge of diesel engine basics and electrical systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in emergency situations. Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
