Job Description

We invite experienced Dialysis Nurses to apply for this contract position at a national hospital on a Pacific Island, supporting efforts to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes for the local community.

Positions are contingent on contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment (hemodialysis and/or peritoneal dialysis). Monitor, assess, and manage patients before, during, and after dialysis sessions. Operate and maintain dialysis machines and equipment in accordance with clinical standards. Collaborate with nephrologists and the broader multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. Educate patients and families on dialysis treatment, renal care, and self-management techniques. Maintain accurate patient records and uphold infection control protocols. Support training and capacity-building initiatives for local staff where appropriate.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (country-recognized) Minimum 5 years of relevant post-registration experience Valid nursing license/registration Experience working in multidisciplinary settings English Language Proficiency
