Job Title:

Electrical & Diagnostics Technician - Automotive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical & Diagnostics Technician with solid experience in both vehicle electrical systems and mechanical work. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems in vehicles. The ideal candidate will be versatile, able to work on both electrical/diagnostic faults and general mechanical repairs, ensuring high-quality service in a busy workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle

electrical and electronic systems

(wiring, sensors, control modules, alternators, starters, batteries, etc.). Perform

advanced diagnostics

using OBD scanners, oscilloscopes, and other specialized tools. Troubleshoot error codes, electrical faults, and ECU-related issues. Carry out

mechanical repairs and maintenance

(engine, suspension, brakes, transmission, etc.). Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical schematics. Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and safety procedures. Prepare diagnostic reports and document repair processes accurately. Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, clean workshop environment.

Requirements:

Diploma/Certificate in

Automotive Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in automotive electrical, diagnostics, and mechanical repair. Strong knowledge of both electrical systems and general vehicle mechanics. Skilled in using diagnostic tools, scanners, and mechanical repair equipment. Ability to handle hybrid and electric vehicle systems is an advantage. Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Must be an Arabic speaker

(if required by company in UAE).
