Job Title: Technician - Lift & Paint Booth Installation (Automotive Industry)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled technician to install, maintain, and repair automotive workshop equipment, specifically vehicle lifts and paint booths. The role involves on-site assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring installations meet safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and assemble automotive lifts, paint booths, and related workshop equipment according to manufacturer guidelines. Perform site inspections before installation to ensure proper placement and setup requirements. Connect electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as needed for equipment operation. Test installed systems to ensure functionality and safety compliance. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on lifts, paint booths, and other automotive equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Provide operational training to clients or workshop staff on installed equipment. Maintain accurate service reports, installation logs, and customer records. Follow all safety procedures and comply with industry standards during installation and servicing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. Experience in installation and maintenance of automotive workshop equipment preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and work in workshop environments. Willingness to travel for on-site projects. 2 - 3 years' experience.
