This position will be based in UAE under the Clinical, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance (CRMPV) department. You will directly report to the CRMPV Director.

The position

As a Diabetes Medical Manager, you will play an essential role within the Medical Affairs team and focus on furthering scientific exchange between the company and the medical community.

Your main accountabilities will include:
  • Delivering medical and scientific knowledge through both internal and external activities
  • Ensuring that Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Medical Specialists, and other relevant stakeholders are kept aware and possess the adequate tools to support their fight against Diabetes and related therapeutic areas
  • Developing & managing Product Medical strategy, delivering best-in-class scientific activities and educational programs, publication planning, and by maintaining a regular voice within UAE Medical Community
  • Supporting and enforcing research activities from a medical standpoint with internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Maintaining close cooperation and support in a cross-functional manner with our CMR, Market Access, Marketing, and Sales Teams and managing field-based medical
Qualifications

As our Diabetes Medical Manager, you need to have a medical degree (Medicine/ Pharmacy/ Dentistry), experience in diabetes therapy areas within scientific and pharmaceutical understanding business acumen. Ideally, you would have minimum of 3 years in the medical affairs department.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Total minimum 5 years of industry or clinical experience relevant to the company\'s therapeutic interests in endocrinology and diabetes
  • Previous experience with research and real-world evidence generation, experience in or exposure to product launch planning from a medical standpoint
  • Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and multitasking capability is required
  • Preferably a minimum 1 year of experience in People Management or as a manager
  • Excellent medical communication skills and fluency in English
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, team player and be ambitious, self-motivated, proactive, excellent planning with a highly organized mindset

Clinical, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance (CRMPV) department is a dynamic and diverse department consisting of highly qualified professionals who are responsible for conducting real-world evidence, interactions with medical professionals and regulatory authorities for current therapy areas such as Diabetes, Obesity, and Rare Diseases as well as other related current and new therapy areas. Medical affairs are the core leaders in driving scientific exchange with health care professionals in addition to being the bridge between relevant stakeholders and delivering insights across the functions, ensuring medical compliance to ultimately meet Novo Nordisk\'s promise, improving patients\xe2\x80\x99 lives. Regulatory and PV (Pharmacovigilance) strive to ensure the best and the fastest strategies for New Drug applications and maintain licenses to operate besides delivering PV excellence, audit, and inspection readiness.
