Job Description

The DEWA Approved Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, supervision, execution, and approval of electrical works in compliance with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) regulations. The role requires ensuring all site electrical installations, drawings, and submissions meet DEWA standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare, review, and submit electrical drawings and load schedules for DEWA approval. Coordinate with DEWA officials for inspection, NOC, and final connection approvals. Supervise and monitor all electrical site works to ensure compliance with approved designs, DEWA regulations, and safety standards. Manage material submittals and ensure all equipment meets DEWA and project specifications. Conduct site inspections and testing for LV panels, MDBs, SMDBs, and final circuits. Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical reports related to electrical systems. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project execution. Ensure all documentation and drawings are up to date and submitted to DEWA portals as required. Attend DEWA meetings and inspections as company's authorized representative. Support project team during design, installation, commissioning, and handover stages.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Approval:

Must hold valid

DEWA Engineer Approval

(LV or HV as applicable).

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in UAE electrical construction projects.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of DEWA standards, UAE electrical regulations, and local authority requirements.

Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
