Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to

• Design, implement, and govern DevSecOps architecture aligned with government security

frameworks and regulations

• Embed security, compliance, and audit controls within CI/CD pipelines for government

applications

• Ensure secure integration of applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms in regulated

environments

• Define, enforce, and monitor security standards, policies, and baselines in line with

government mandates

• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews for systems handling

sensitive or classified data

• Integrate approved security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container and code scanning) into

development pipelines

• Support vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation in coordination with

SOC and CERT teams

• Ensure compliance with government cybersecurity standards, data protection laws, and audit

requirements

• Provide periodic reports on security posture, compliance status, and DevSecOps KPIs to

governance bodies

• Maintain DevSecOps architecture, security documentation, SOPs, and compliance artefacts

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools in regulated environments (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

• Expertise in government-approved cloud platforms and security controls (AWS GovCloud,

Azure Government or equivalent)

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) with

security guardrails

• Knowledge of container and orchestration security (Docker, Kubernetes) within restricted

networks

• Strong understanding of Secure SDLC, Zero Trust Architecture, and defense-in-depth

principles

• Experience with government cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)

• Familiarity with audit, risk, and compliance processes (GRC)

• Strong stakeholder communication with technical and non-technical government entities

• Security certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, or government-mandated

equivalents)
