Responsibilities

Mission-Critical DevOps & Automation

Build, optimise and automate CI/CD pipelines for secure, on-prem environments.
Support the full lifecycle of C4I platforms, including deployment, configuration, monitoring and hardening.
Own configuration management using Infrastructure as Code practices.

Systems Engineering & Reliability

Maintain highly available distributed systems supporting real-time operations.
Drive observability best practices, logging, metrics and alerting.
Ensure secure system operation in sensitive environments.

Security, Hardening & Compliance

Apply STIG, CIS and defence-grade security baselines.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance within restricted environments.
Manage vulnerability remediation, patching and secure access control.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

Work closely with research, software and embedded engineering teams.
Contribute to architecture decisions and cross-functional design reviews.
Document processes and mentor junior engineers where needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or similar (mandatory requirement).
5+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering or Platform Engineering.
Strong experience with Linux, on-prem infrastructure, CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
