Job Role: Team Leader - Full-Stack

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide a cross-functional engineering team working across Software development, DevOps, Monitoring, and Security. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth, leadership skills, and experience ensuring both high-quality software delivery and secure, scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Project Management

Lead, mentor, and support backend, frontend, DevOps, and security-focused engineers. Plan sprints, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features and infrastructure improvements. Facilitate code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making. Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions.

Technical Ownership

Provide hands-on guidance in software development. Architect scalable, maintainable applications with a focus on performance and security. Ensure engineering best practices are followed, including coding standards, documentation, and testing. Troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack.

DevOps, Operations & Monitoring

Work on CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and cloud operations. Work on deployments, cloud configuration, and environment stability. Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging. Collaborate with teams to maintain reliable, high-availability production systems.

Security - Application, Infrastructure & Compliance

Ensure secure coding practices across codebases. Conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments. Implement OWASP best practices and enforce secure authentication/authorization patterns. Oversee infrastructure security including - IAM roles and permission management, Network security groups, firewalls, and VPNs, etc Manage security tools and processes such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, logging, and audit trails. Coordinate penetration testing and security incident response. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience leading engineering or DevOps teams. 5+ years hands-on experience with: Node.js, Laravel/PHP, Angular Strong DevOps knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform or similar IaC). Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure security. Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response. Strong foundation in application security and secure coding practices.
Experience with microservices architecture or migration.

Understanding of API security (JWT, OAuth2, rate-limiting, WAF).

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
