Job Purpose
The number of students has increased due to the addition of several new programs in the college of Computing and Informatics and any more new programs at the university. Therefore, one lecturer is required.

Job Specific Accountabilities
The College of Computing and Informatics at the University of Sharjah is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the full-time faculty positions as Lecturer in Computer Science. The commencement date of the position is in January 2023.
The successful candidates are expected to:

- Teach IT skill courses and labs.
- Prepare and develop lab material for IT skill courses.
- Teaching programming labs.
- Perform all assigned administrative tasks by the program/department, college and university.
- Mentor and advise students.
Required Skills
- Have a Master's in Computer Science (From a reputable and internationally recognized University).
- Have demonstrated teaching experience in IT skills and computer programming.
- Strong experience in using MS Office, C++ and other programming languages.
- Have the ability to teach in Arabic and English
Preferred Qualification & Experience
Minimum qualification includes:
- Have a Master's in Computer Science (From a reputable and internationally recognized University).
- Have demonstrated teaching experience in IT skills and computer programming.
