We are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Executive to join our school's IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment, and supporting classroom technology. This role ensures the smooth and secure operation of desktops, laptops, and educational IT systems, contributing to an efficient and reliable learning environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, and possess hands-on expertise in Windows and macOS environments
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proven experience in desktop or IT support, preferably within an educational institution
Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and projectors
Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems
Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft 365, educational applications, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Good understanding of IT security best practices, including antivirus solutions, firewalls, VLANs, and data privacy standards
