Design/Construction Coordination Manager
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design/Construction Coordination Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of design and construction processes on a project. Their responsibilities typically involve managing communication, schedules, and deliverables between design teams, construction teams, and other stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
Act as the primary liaison between design teams (Consultant) and construction teams (Engineer, PMC).
Ensure alignment between design intent and construction execution.
Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to resolve design and construction conflicts.
Ensure that construction activities adhere to the approved design and specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to verify that work is being executed as per the design intent.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws and safety regulations.
Identify potential risks related to design and construction coordination and develop mitigation strategies.
Address unforeseen issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Facilitate regular meetings between design and construction teams to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including status reports, risk assessments and key decisions.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering program preferably Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10+ years of related work experience in Infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of Design and Construction processes.
Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Must have experience within Abu Dhabi market and able to attend in-person interviews.
