We are looking for a Steel structure design manager for a steel fabrication company based in Sharjah. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Scope, investigate, define and prepare project plans for structural investigations and designs. - Preparation of structural design drawings, specifications, risk matrices and cost estimates for a range of structural design projects . - Prepare comprehensive consultant briefs for structural investigations and designs. - Manage in-house design teams to achieve design objectives within budget expectations. - Engage and manage consultants to achieve design objectives within budget expectations. - Review all structural design documentation prepared and ensure that it is correct to a high degree of accuracy, suitable for construction and in accordance with all relevant standards. - Undertake technical investigations and prepare reports on a range of structural projects. -Investigate, document and prepare applications for any required statutory approvals. - Research, prepare and implement effective policies in areas relevant to the Structural Design Section. Requirements : - Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering -5-8 years (minimum) demonstrated experience in structural engineering design and/or construction . - Demonstrated project management experience to deliver multiple projects that meet strict deadlines, budgets and deliver identified outcomes.
