About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented

Design & Estimation (Structural Engineer)

to support our engineering team remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for the

structural design, analysis, and cost estimation

of solar and water treatment projects, ensuring all designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

structural designs and analysis

for solar panel structures, supports, and water treatment facilities. Develop

BOQs (Bill of Quantities)

, material take-offs, and cost estimates for tender submissions and project proposals. Review project drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements to provide accurate design solutions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers) to ensure integrated design outcomes. Ensure all designs comply with

Qatar Construction Standards (QCS)

and

international codes

such as ACI, BS, or Eurocode. Assist in preparing

technical documentation and design reports

for internal and client review. Recommend materials and design optimizations to improve structural efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil or Structural Engineering

(Master's preferred).

3-5 years of experience

in structural design and estimation (preferably in

solar or water treatment projects

). Proficiency in design software such as

STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, and MS Excel

. Strong knowledge of

structural load calculations, foundations, and steel structures

. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
