We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in the oil & gas industry, specializing in the design of frac tanks, batch mixers, bulkers, and oilfield equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and develop detailed 2D and 3D design drawings for frac tanks, batch mixers, bulkers, and other oilfield equipment.
Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical, and manufacturable.
Perform design calculations, stress analysis, and material selection as required.
Revise and improve existing designs based on project needs and client feedback.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, quality norms, and safety regulations.
Maintain design documentation, drawings, and revisions in line with company procedures.
Support cross-functional teams in project execution and provide technical input during reviews.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement.
Prepare technical specifications for oil & gas products.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Design Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in designing production equipment, frac tanks, batch mixers, bulkers, and oilfield equipment.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (mandatory).
Solid knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and standards.
Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
Strong understanding of oil & gas product applications and specifications.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Experience in designing frac tanks, mud tanks, mud gas separators, oil & gas separators, oilfield trailers, silos, tripod bulkers, batch mixers, acid tankers, etc.
