Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our Metal Division, specializing in architectural metal works and facade systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in design development, shop drawings, and coordination for facade and architectural metal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed shop drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings for architectural and facade metal works Develop design solutions for facade systems, cladding, louvers, handrails, balustrades, canopies, and decorative metal works Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project/site teams to ensure design compliance and constructability Review project specifications, BOQs, and IFC drawings Support value engineering and material optimization Ensure designs comply with project requirements, local codes, and standards Assist during fabrication and site installation stages when required
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or related field 3-7 years of experience in architectural metal and facade design (UAE experience preferred) Strong knowledge of facade systems and architectural metal works Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SolidWorks / Revit is an advantage Good understanding of fabrication processes and installation methods Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects Strong communication and coordination skills
