You will be responsible for developing CAD models, technical drawings, and contributing to the full design process of armored vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD based on project requirements.
Design armoring components, ballistic protection systems, and structural modifications for various vehicle platforms.
Ensure that all designs meet engineering and safety standards, including weight distribution and structural integrity.
Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for production.
Collaborate with Production, R&D, Procurement, and Quality Control teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Revise and update technical documentation throughout the design lifecycle.
Participate in prototype development and testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive or armored vehicle industry.
Strong knowledge of armoring materials, ballistic standards, and vehicle systems.
Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks (required), AutoCAD (preferred).
Ability to interpret OEM drawings, specifications, and vehicle architecture.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with FEA or structural simulation tools.
Familiarity with international ballistic protection standards (e.g., NIJ, VPAM, STANAG).
UAE driving license is a plus.
