We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years (preferably 10 years) of experience in the mining and quarry industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles, with a focus on designing and maintaining equipment used in mining and quarry operations. Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery used in mining and quarry operations. Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements for new projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of equipment and processes. Provide technical expertise and support for maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify equipment performance issues and implement appropriate solutions. Optimize equipment design and performance to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and specifications. Utilize AutoCAD drafting software to create and modify engineering drawings. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mining and quarry equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all engineering activities. Requirements: Minimum bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years (preferably 10 years) of experience in the mining and quarry industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including equipment design, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics, FEA. Proficiency in software\xe2\x80\x99s like AutoCAD drafting software to create and modify engineering drawings. Proficiency in Simulation and Analysis software\xe2\x80\x99s to conduct design efficiency study. Familiarity with relevant industry codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent report writing and documentation skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to relocate to the United Arab Emirates. Must have driving License of UAE. Willingness to travel frequently within UAE to different sites for inspections/ commissioning/ maintenance.
