Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented

Senior Construction Engineer

to join our team! In this role, you will ensure constructability, design compliance, and seamless transition from design to execution on a major water infrastructure project in the Liwa (Western Region of Abu Dhabi).

What You'll Be Doing:

Validate the constructability of design submissions across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. Liaise with Delivery Contractors and Supervision Consultants to ensure smooth handover from design to construction. Identify and propose solutions for design and engineering challenges to support efficient project delivery. Review and endorse design deliverables with a focus on feasibility, sequencing, and construction methodology. Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. Participate in technical reviews and constructability workshops with multi-disciplinary teams. Support coordination between the design and construction phases across six distribution and transmission packages. Ensure alignment with project standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

(or equivalent). Minimum

12+ years

of experience in design and construction roles, preferably within large-scale

EPC Contractor

projects. Solid understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques across utility/infrastructure projects. Experience working on multidisciplinary teams involving complex interface and coordination requirements. GCC experience in water transmission and distribution projects Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Knowledge of UAE construction codes and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in design review and collaboration tools (e.g., BIM, Navisworks, Aconex). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder project environment.
