  • Coordinate with other project stakeholders to ensure the use of creative solutions in the design of jobs that reduce manpower requirements, cost and time.
  • Create customized Revit content/Contribute/Assist leadership with firm-wide Revit standards, model management, and technical support to other Revit modelers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Multi-disciplinary coordination of the overall Project production and deliverables
  • Oversee the production of design information to meet the project programme.
  • Reviewing all design documentation to ensure suitability for construction and in accordance with all relevant standards, regulations and project specifications.
  • Review consultant\'s approval/comments on the drawing submittals and sharing feedbacks and updates with the team
  • To ensure CRS are closed out
  • Monitor and track project\xe2\x80\x99s progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Update design & project teams on the progress of all projects on a weekly basis
  • Provide weekly progress reports with weekly look ahead to the Engineering Manager
  • Coordinates the process of generating and managing digital models
  • Review of 3D Models
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks
  • Manage Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
  • Early design review and constructability analysis to ensure CRS are closed out
  • Coordinate submission and exchange of Models
  • Coordinates with Projects delivery teams and sectors for technical support requirements
  • Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
  • 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
  • 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks
  • Develop the Building Information Models so as to prepare detail drawings based on technical designs utilizing advanced knowledge of relevant design and drafting principles.
  • Prepare BIM Implementation/Execution Plans for each project.
  • Assist in the mentoring of trainee and junior BIM Modelers.
  • Manage projects\xe2\x80\x99 BIM models.
  • Coordination of modelling, documentation and design work.
  • Prepare BIM workflow
  • Advise management and staff of advances and opportunities in BIM.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of the company\xe2\x80\x99s BIM capabilities and quality of deliverables.
Supporting BIM Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare the BXP
  • Pre-model Setup
  • Establish standards and methodology
  • Develop server requirements and resolve conflicts to ensure successful integration for all BIM Model contributors
  • Verify BIM capabilities of the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s team
  • Develop processes for transferring and accessing Model files
  • Establish access rights
  • Negotiating, developing and enforcing the Project Protocol
  • Prepare BIM protocols, establish Standards and BIM procedures for Contractor, Employer, Employers Representative and Assistant contribution and access to models, their security & stability and getting revisions incorporated
  • Create BIM file set-up and management
  • Provide template Files
  • Clearly define a protocol for file transfer and handling
  • Establish and maintain a process for change documentation and communicating the change
  • Provide a method and format for identifying clashes, documenting, resolving and revisions to the BIM model
  • Establish standards for, coordinate and ensure the quality of contributions to the BIM models by other parties, including by the Employers Representative and the Contractor
Skills

Education:
  • Bachelor\'s in architecture
  • Revit Certified professional.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of previous similar Design coordination experience
  • Technical capability of BIM LOD 300, 400 and 500.
  • Implementation of BIM Management systems across the company

Technical Skills: We seek a detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive Design / BIM Coordinator to collaborate and work cohesively with our high-achieving team and organization. The desired individual will assist in streamlining creative design and technical production from conception through overall completion of projects, utilizing Revit for all phases of design delivering high detailed models and shop-drawings up to LOD 500. This role includes coordination with the project team, clients, and regulatory agencies. This role is required to coordinate and review designs and drawings (may include drawings of other disciplines and sub-contractors), monitor BIM Model Progress (clashes, standards, etc), research technical solutions/materials, prepare project schedules. He or she must be acquainted w/ technical drawing conventions & standards, have time management skills and able to detail with speed and accuracy.
