About The Role
Are you an experienced Design professional with hands-on supervisory experience? Do you enjoy working closely with a diverse set of individuals? Are you ready to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously?
As an Administrator, Design you will be involved in all phases of the design project (concept to completion). Manage multiple projects and prioritize project workload and/or time sensitive tasks. Assists and/or selects finishes for various projects. Ability to communicate design ideas and take direction quickly. Follows and stays on schedule with assigned tasks. Helps build the materials library. Responsible in keeping track of In-Coming & Out-Going Documentations and checking project progress towards meeting its objectives. Prepare a visual depiction of a product to be constructed or modified based on given specifications. You will be using CAD software to produce detailed drawings that includes building dimensions, required materials and construction & design procedures. Work closely with designers, facilities department, purchasing, manufacturers, contractors, vendors, and end-user departments. Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practice. In all cases you will be the initial Design Direction approved by Senior Management. The primary goal is to focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity. This role has supervisory & budgetary responsibility.

About You
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree / diploma / equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture with minimum 2 years of pervious work experience in a similar position responsible for design projects (concept to completion). Strong conceptual design skills - able to undertake design project (concept to completion). Proficient in furniture layout, color, lighting, material selection, custom furniture, and installations Experienced in - creating physical presentation boards and digital in Photoshop, submittal review.
Proficient in writing interior FF&E specifications - scan images and format for specs, format actual specs on sheet, format a completed spec book including index sheets and contacts, assists with matrix process, interpret what is needed for the 'look' and select appropriate FF&E items, draw simple custom furniture drawings and details, produce drapery and bedding drawings, custom upholstered furniture, case goods, lighting, and custom furniture, produce all drawings for fabrication in CAD, contact vendors, order samples, collect and document pricing and lead times, organize all aspects of the specification process answering questions, sending packages, selecting, etc. Good Knowledge in CD Documentation - Knows CAD standards and applies them, block up elevations from drawings with accuracy, thorough and accurate at red line pick-ups, clouds and notes revisions on drawing/specs modifications, draw and tag finished plans and elevations that meets company standards, produce basic sections and details of millwork and furniture, produce door, hardware, plumbing, lighting, finish schedules, put together an architectural binder for CD/DD, produce furniture layouts and floor plans skillfully, read CD drawings including section and details expertly, research sourcing and decide on materials and products sourcing.
