Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and creative Flooring Design Consultant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will guide clients through the selection, design, and installation process of flooring solutions, ensuring their preferences and functional requirements are met while maintaining the highest standards of design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with clients to understand their flooring needs, preferences, and budget. Provide design recommendations based on the client's space, usage, aesthetics, and current trends. Create and present flooring design concepts using material samples, design software, and mood boards. Stay updated with the latest flooring materials, styles, and sustainability options. Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, project timelines, and installation schedules. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and installation teams to ensure timely and quality execution. Conduct site visits to measure and assess flooring conditions. Maintain accurate records of client consultations, design proposals, and project milestones. Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after project completion.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in flooring design, interior design, or a related role. Strong understanding of flooring materials (tiles, wood, vinyl, laminate, carpet, epoxy, etc.). Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar. Excellent visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics and detail. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. UAE driving license is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

English and Arabic is an advantage. Knowledge of UAE building codes and design trends. Sales or retail experience in flooring or interiors.
