We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented

Sales and Design Consultant

to join our team in the furniture industry. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong

sales acumen

and

interior design expertise

, with a proven track record of working in the UAE market. This role involves understanding client needs, creating aesthetically appealing furniture layouts, and driving sales to meet company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand clients' preferences, lifestyle needs, and space requirements. Conduct site visits when necessary to assess space and take measurements. Develop creative furniture layouts and design proposals tailored to individual client needs. Prepare mood boards, 2D/3D visualizations, and product mockups as required. Provide detailed design consultations including furniture placement, color schemes, and material selection. Guide clients through product selection and close sales effectively. Maintain in-depth knowledge of current furniture lines, product specifications, and customization options. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services. Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Provide after-sales support, ensuring client satisfaction from order placement to delivery and installation. Handle client queries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate closely with showroom staff, logistics, and design teams. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and design plans. Report regularly on sales activity and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum

2 years of experience in the UAE

in a similar sales/design role within the furniture or interior design industry.

Bachelor's degree

in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred). Strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities (preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar. Well-groomed, confident, and customer-focused with a passion for design and decor. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced showroom environment.
