Our business is seeking a Design Assistant who is creative, passionate about fashion and sustainability, extremely organized and detail-oriented, can meet deadlines on time, has excellent communication skills, is a team player and is used to a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the creation and development of new collections
- Trend forecasting
- Assist in creating mood and trend boards for reference purposes
- Understand fashion and technical language to build the tech pack of the designs
- Knowledge of Design software and technical words
- Assist in the development of the line sheet and materials sheet
- Provide creative and practical support to the fashion designer
- Work with inputs and directions on new ideas, concepts, and designs
- Assist the fashion designer and CEO throughout the product development procedure
- Provide support by assisting in photoshoots and E-commerce shoots
- Assist in the development of accessories prototypes
- Create materials and hardware inventory for new designs
- Update materials inventory
- Being able to understand brand identity and develop designs accordingly
- Being excited to develop new SKUs and build the business through new designs and products
- At least one year of experience in Design
- Fashion Diploma or Ongoing Fashion Studies in graphic design, fine arts, or another related field
- Expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Meticulous, precise, and keen on details
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Possesses excellent time management skills in meeting deadlines and completing projects on time
- Creative and diligent in solving any issues that may arise during the design process
- Cooperative and a team player
- Fashion Design: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
