Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Arabic Speaking Design

Application Engineer

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project-specific design work, cost estimation, detailed engineering documentation, and the preparation of technical project submissions. In addition, the role will involve leading mechanical design improvements and contributing to the continuous enhancement of technical drawings, product functionality, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering:

1. Develop customized technical solutions based on client/project requirements.


2. Prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.


3. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal design guidelines.

Cost Estimation:

1. Evaluate project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates.


2. Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.


3. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering.

Project Detailing & Documentation:

1. Create and maintain BOQs, datasheets, and technical specifications.


2. Support project execution teams with up-to-date and accurate documentation.


3. Participate in project kick-off and review meetings if required, to ensure technical alignment.

Cross-Functional Support:

1. Provide technical support to sales, production, and after-sales teams.


2. Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.


3. Assist in technical training and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field).


2. 3-5 years of experience in application engineering, design, or a related field.


3. Strong understanding of engineering design principles, cost estimation, and electrical systems.


4. Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD or equivalent) and MS Office.


5. Experience with electrical circuit design and schematics is a plus.


6. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.


7. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Working Conditions

Primarily based in an office environment.


Standard office working hours, which may require flexibility during peak periods
