Job Description

The Role

We're working with a client who is launching a new fit-out business in the UAE and is looking for someone to take full ownership of pre-construction. This is a senior hire with a clear plan to evolve into a Director role in the near future. You'll be working directly with the CEO from day one, leading all front-end activity across tenders, bid responses, pre-construction planning, design coordination and client-facing delivery. This is not a passive leadership position. You'll be in the room, helping win work, shape strategy, and define how the business operates and delivers. The CEO has built and scaled successful UK construction businesses before and has now relocated to Dubai to lead this venture with the right backing and intent to grow it steadily and properly. You'll be central to that growth.



Requirements

We're looking for someone who understands fit-out and has led pre-construction activity in the region. You'll have a strong understanding of how design, programme, commercial and client expectations need to align at the early stages of a project, and be able to manage that process with confidence. You'll be credible in front of clients, consultants, and design teams, someone who can build trust quickly through knowledge, delivery experience, and a calm, clear communication style. This role needs someone who is comfortable taking ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do. You'll be expected to lead, contribute, and shape the way the business operates. You may have worked as a Design Manager, Pre-Construction Manager, or even led bid teams, but what matters most is your ability to step into a role with autonomy and influence from day one. Ideally you will have worked in the UK, Australia, Europe or the US in the past.
