Our company is currently looking for a well competent Dental Insurance Manager to join our fast-growing team of professionals. QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a college graduate.
Experience in Dental Field IS A MUST
Holder of medical or dental coding certificate
Licensed Coder
Knowledge in ICDs and other coding guidelines and standards
More than 3 - year of experience in the same field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledgeable in the UAE insurance regulations
Computer literate with knowledge in MS-Office applications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and manage the department in all of its transactions.
Ensure that the staff are following the correct procedures based on the rules of the insurance companies.
Coordinate to new insurance companies and process for registration if required.
Organize insurance department\xe2\x80\x99s staff schedule and ensure that the clinic\xe2\x80\x99s operation will not be compromised.
Deal with insurance companies with regards to the price lists, contracts and discounts to be provided to patients.
Ensure that the insurance staff are fit for their job and are doing their job correctly.
Monitor the patient\xe2\x80\x99s insurance statistics and identify if there is a need to be a provider of a certain insurance company.
Set a standard procedure for the insurance flow in the clinic.
Inform the clinical department with regards to the changes or update provided by the insurance companies
Provide a weekly report to the finance manager and ensure that all the completed procedures are being billed.
Assist in validating physicians request by checking charting, documentation, coded procedures and others when necessary.
Provide support and/or training to insurance department when required which could include requesting of approval, modification, submission, resubmission, cancellation of requests, etc.
Ensure that the clinic comply with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices
Ensure that all the coding errors and disputes has been corrected.
Monitor if all missing or incomplete documentation are being completed.
Perform other tasks related to job as per the instruction of the management.
