Job Description

1. Serves as an assistant to the Chef de Partie and assumes complete charge of the area during his absence. 2. Prepares mis-en-place adequately for estimated business and supervises this as such. 3. Prepares all dishes in a fast, efficient sequence according to order. 4. Supervises portion control, correct plating and garnish as well as the handling and storage of prepared foodstuffs and leftovers. 5. Ensures that cleanliness and hygiene conditions of all work areas i.e. fridges, stoves, etc. 6. Ensures that all food is prepared hygienically and to the highest standard of quality and preservation with a minimum wastage. 7. May be called upon to perform comparable duties as requested by the Executive Sous Chef/Sous Chef. 8. To have a good knowledge of all facilities of the property 9. To maintain at all items the highest standard of personal hygiene, appearance and social skills. 10. To work in harmony with all staff and departments in the hotel. 11. To attend and be attentive to training as and when required. 12. To be familiar with the staff handbook, fire and safety procedures. 13. To perform any other duties as directed by your immediate supervisor. To be available to work overtime when requested. Job Type: Full-time Salary: BD216.000 - BD250.000 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
