We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie to join our hot kitchen team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of hot dishes, including meat, fish, and international cuisine
Assist the Chef de Partie in managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food delivery
Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
Monitor and maintain proper food storage and rotation
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed
Participate in inventory management and cost control measures
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction
Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven ability to prepare and present high-quality hot dishes
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective communication skills in English
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform kitchen duties
Valid food handler's certification or ability to obtain one
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
