Assist in the preparation, baking, and presentation of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain quality and consistency.
Ensure proper handling and storage of all ingredients and products.
Maintain a clean and organized pastry section, following hygiene and safety standards.
Assist in the development of new pastry items and seasonal menu updates.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Chef de Partie and Head Pastry Chef for stock replenishment.
Train and guide junior pastry staff when required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality desserts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
