We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie to join our all-day dining restaurant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Assist the Chef de Partie in overseeing daily kitchen operations for the all-day dining restaurant
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and culinary standards
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices are followed at all times
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during service hours
Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, placing orders as needed
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Adapt to the changing needs of an all-day dining operation, from breakfast through dinner service
Assist in implementing cost-control measures and reducing food waste
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts
Qualifications
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in all-day dining operations
Strong knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques
Proficiency in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen equipment operation
Up-to-date food safety certification
Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Team player with effective communication abilities
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food allergies
Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences
